My (German) mother tells that one of her uncles, Emil, a soccer referee, would referee games in his sleep.

By accident I learned why you should be careful waking a sleepwalker. One night I somehow turned 180 degrees in bed. Merely waking up with my head differently oriented was enough to cause a momentary panic - imagine the feeling of suddenly waking up with a frying pan, or out mowing the lawn. (I suppose it's b/c we expect to pick up right where we dropped off?)
